Details submitted through the contact form (name, email address, subject, message) are used solely to answer your enquiry. They are never sold or passed to third parties for commercial purposes.
Retention: messages are kept for as long as it takes to handle the enquiry, then archived or deleted.
“Find the wine that matches you” quiz: if you ask for your result by email, your address and profile are used to send it to you, at your request. Vinipedia then keeps them for up to three years after your last exchange, to answer your questions about the result and to follow up if you write (legitimate interest). Invitations and the newsletter reach you only if you tick the box provided. You can ask for this data to be deleted at any time.
Invitations and newsletter: your address joins the mailing list only with your agreement (tick box or sign-up form). It stays there until you unsubscribe, which you can do at any time through the link in every mailing.
Service providers: the site is hosted by Vercel, its emails are sent through Resend, Vinipedia’s mailbox is provided by Google, the invitation list is managed with Direct Mail (e3 Software) and audience measurement, if you accept it, uses Google Analytics. These providers process data on Vinipedia’s behalf, partly in the United States. These transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or, where it does not apply, on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Your rights: you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, to withdraw your consent at any time, and to give instructions about what happens to your data after your death. To exercise them, write to contact@vinipedia.co. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
Cookies: the site uses only cookies strictly necessary for it to work. Analytics cookies are set only after you explicitly agree, and you can withdraw that agreement at any time.
The maps on the Contact page are served by OpenStreetMap and set no advertising cookie.
